Magpie Disco

The magpie is the only bird which enjoys seeing itself in a mirror: Pica Pica!

They are normally black and white: Heckle and Jeckle!

Magpie's are a songbird species from the crow family: discrow!

Do they have mental skills similar to those found in humans? Hmmmm, I hope not.

Little Sister

Here's a bit of rock and roll written by Doc Pomus, lyricist, and Mort Shuman, songwriter. Elvis Presley released this song as a double A-side along with "(Marie's the Name) His Latest Flame".

Van Credenza now interpret this number which deals with a young man who is baffled by women.

Flying Machine

"It has repeatedly been enquired why the visitors from Mars did not take wing without delay after their coming. They most certainly did use an airborne device for numerous days, but only for short voyages of a dozen or so of miles, in order to explore and cast their coal black residue."

Red Light (Change to Black)

The slit drum and dumbek have been utilised, along with a classic trio of drums, bass and guitar to reproduce another obscure cult psychedelic number by The Lysergic.

Originally released to little acclaim in 1967, Van Credenza slipped into character with a near faithful cover of this number, the Studer J37, a four-track tape recorder, being employed via AKG D19 dynamic microphones.

And of course, the band dressed from that period to capture the atmosphere, while feasting on Old English Spangles and smoking Sweet Tobacco.

Let's Spend The

Here, Van Credenza teams up with Kentucky Firewalker James Artist to undertake shamanistic rituals, spiritual events and Cherokee bodywork (3000-year-old Cherokee medicine).

Medicine Man James involves us with rolling thunder, as clouds fall from the sky and the waves sail backwards.

At The Foot Of The Mountain, in The Middle Of The Forest, lies The Great Rock.

Love Hate Fear Joy

A remake of the obscure cult psychedelic number by The Lysergic, Van Credenza features the electric smee on this version.

The band dressed in vintage shirts and loons from Mr Fish and Granny Takes a Trip to record the song.
