Magpie Disco
The magpie is the only bird which enjoys seeing itself in a mirror: Pica Pica!
They are normally black and white: Heckle and Jeckle!
Magpie's are a songbird species from the crow family: discrow!
Do they have mental skills similar to those found in humans? Hmmmm, I hope not.

Walking on Titan
Made for a Slovakian TA3 channel's space exploration series, 'Walking on Titan' was used for various clips and the end credit sequence. Lifeforms are said to be more likely to exist on Titan than many other natural satellites or any other planetary body.

The Irish Baker (Variation)
Originally published as "Angelina the
Baker" in 1850, this was an American bluegrass tune. The composer and
lyricist was Stephen Foster.
Lyrics were:
Angeline the baker lives in our village green,
The way I always loved
her beats all you ever seen.
Angeline the baker, her age is forty-three,
I bought her candy by
the peck, and she won't marry me.
Her father is the miller, they call him Uncle Sam.
I never will forget her,
unless I take a dram.
Angeline is handsome, Angeline is tall,
They say she sprained
her ankle a-dancing at the ball.
She can't do hard work because she is not stout,
She bakes her biscuits
every day, and pours the coffee out.
I'll never marry no other girl, no matter where I go.
I said I'd marry
Angeline just twenty years ago.
The last time I saw her was at the county fair.
Her father run me almost
home and told me to stay there.
It was then remodelled as an Irish Jig, and is now covered here by Van Credenza.

Historical event, maybe some day soon
History in the future: who
knows?
Not many people thought thought. Not many thought.
Maybe some day soon, for hundreds of years.
A story with a sad beginning. The return of success.
Thanks.

Musical Box
Carillons à musique or
music chimes developed from elaborate snuff boxes produced in the 18th century.
These snuff boxes would fit well into a gentleman’s waistcoat pocket, and were
produced by watchmakers of Switzerland, Bohemia and Germany.
However, it was in Baghdad that the prototype mechanical music maker was first constructed.
This is Van Credenza’s small musical box.

Two Little Boys
Written shortly into the 1900s, this song was made famous by one time highest paid entertainer in the world Harry Lauder. He was earning over $1000 a night for his performances before World War One.
Hartlepool United and Shamrock Rovers football fans also sing this song at matches. A version was sung in the movie 'Trainspotting', and Billy Connolly and Kenny Rodgers have also recorded versions.
Splodgenessabounds reached the UK charts in 1980 with this song, and several other acts have also interpreted the song, written by Theodore F. Morse with lyrics by Edward Madden.
Another version was performed by Australian Rolf Harris, and most recently he re-recorded this number with Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir.

Circus Batman + Steptoe = Hawaiian Suitcase
It's a new jazz incident from Van Credenza.
A remedy for villains and a carnival for all in the colony.
Fusion for the confused.
Crunchy soul for those living in the strange factory.
A cheerful false question for everyone.

Mein Kaempfert
Miloslav Ladislav Geisler developed the ‘knack bass’ sound while working with Bert Kaempfert, James Last and Freddy Quinn. Although born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, he had been drafted into the German Air Force late during WW2, and while in a Danish POW camp, met Bert Kaempfert who had been in the German Navy.
They developed a musical friendship which would be key to providing the laid-back, relaxed Kaempfert musical style.
And thus the Nazis contributed positively, if unwittingly, to the present day easy-listening genre still popular with aged but enthusiastic zealots the world over.

Not Genetically Programmed
Coarse racist whisky drinking haggis and deep fried Mars bars eating bagpipe playing pale skinned ginger haired mean and dour kilt wearing woad painted genetically programmed Scots.
Van Credenza utilise basic instruments, bass, guitar and drums on this tune, plus a wind guitar, an unusual experimental virtual instrument first tested in Scotland: it is a thermo-acoustically controlled harmonic type generator.

"It has repeatedly been enquired why the visitors from Mars did not take wing without delay after their coming. They most certainly did use an airborne device for numerous days, but only for short voyages of a dozen or so of miles, in order to explore and cast their coal black residue."

Theme from the Monster Cult Mystery
The Monster Cult Mystery was a planned series based on a serpent-like Mayan god named Itzamna, or 'I', which is called upon to modern-day Chicago by a mysterious cult, this way back in 1973.
Roosting within the top of the Willis Tower (at the time Sears Tower), this awesome fiend begins drizzling blood -- from the bodies of window washers, building workers and rooftop sunbathers alike -- onto the streets of Chicago, with devastating consequences.
The pilot received highly negative reviews when it was shown via private cinema release thus was binned but through leaked tapes has gained a cult following over the years.

Harrogate Beach
This cover version was originally recorded as cassette only release in 1978 by the War Criminals, a popular punk combo hailing from Batley. Van Credenza has recorded their tribute following the death Larry Gujarat, influential bass player with the War Criminals.
It can safely be stated that this is the only song ever written which mentions all of Cheech and Chong, Disco Tex and his Sex-o-lettes, David Icke, Charles de Gaule, Bernard Manning, Lester Piggott, Brian Cox, Guy Fawkes, Denis Law, Kanye West , Peter Glade, Heinrich Himmler and the Glimmer Twins.

Kraftwerk visit Fife

Little Yellow Insects
The Bob Myers Trio, from Du Quoin, Illinois, first recorded Little Yellow Insects in a basement close to the site of the WDQN radio tower way back in 1966. Released initially only in the three states of Iowa, Illinois and Indiana, the song raced up local charts due to the infectious relentless beat which contrasted with country influenced chart music at that time. Beat music fans saw the number as a fun novelty tune, but soon Myers was to dampen any hope he had of making it as a pop star.
~+*+~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*+~
In an August 1966 interview for Billboard magazine, Myers chose to praise US foreign policy and the nation's involvement in Vietnam, called for the army to shoot all civil rights demonstrators, expressed sympathy for recently infamous mass murderer Charles Whitman who had gone on a shooting spree from the top of the University of Texas, and shed doubt over the authenticity of the US space program.
~+*+~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*+~
A quote from that interview by Myers: "The Bob Myers Trio's central conceit has always been about the intrinsic conflict of human nature. Things alter but at the end of the day stay the same. Of course, history always repeats itself. We never forget we are a part of what we talk about so we deliver everything with a sense of gravity."
~+*+~+*~+*~+*~+*~+*+~
'Little Yellow Insects' had been due for nationwide release in mid September, but The Bob Myers Trio was quickly dropped from radio rosters, and Myers quickly dropped off pop music's radar.
